Statement of Work

Effective Date: 1 August 2026 Applies To: All service engagements across Answers247, Sahitya Fashion, and DugaShata Tech Version: 1.0
This Statement of Work (SOW) template sets out the standard structure used when DugaShata Global Solution or any of its brands agrees to deliver a specific project or service. A signed, project-specific SOW is issued for every engagement and takes precedence over this general template.

01Purpose of This Document

A Statement of Work is the working agreement between DugaShata Global Solution (through the relevant brand — Answers247, Sahitya Fashion, and DugaShata Tech) and a client, describing exactly what will be delivered, by when, and under what terms. Each engagement receives its own SOW, signed by both parties before work begins; this page explains the standard sections every SOW will contain.

02Parties to the Agreement

Every SOW is issued by the operating brand carrying out the work (for example, DugaShata Tech for a software project, or Answers247 for a support engagement), acting under the authority of {GROUP} as the registered parent entity, and the named client organisation or individual.

03Scope of Work

  • A description of the project, service, or deliverable being provided.
  • Specific tasks, milestones, or phases included in the engagement.
  • Any items explicitly excluded from scope, to avoid ambiguity later.
  • Assumptions the estimate and timeline are based on.

04Deliverables & Timeline

Each SOW lists concrete deliverables (a document, a working system, a completed campaign, a support metric, etc.) against a proposed schedule of dates or phases. Timelines are estimates unless explicitly marked as fixed, and are subject to change if the scope changes or client-side dependencies are delayed.

05Fees & Payment Terms

  • Pricing model: fixed-fee, time-and-materials, or retainer, as agreed per project.
  • Payment milestones (e.g. deposit on signing, balance on delivery, or monthly billing).
  • Applicable taxes are added separately unless stated as tax-inclusive.
  • Late payments may pause active work until the account is brought current.

06Change Requests

Work outside the agreed scope — new features, additional revisions, or expanded deliverables — is treated as a change request. Change requests are quoted and confirmed in writing before being added to the timeline or invoice.

07Roles & Responsibilities

The SOW names a point of contact on each side. The client is responsible for providing timely feedback, access, and materials needed to complete the work; delays on the client side may shift delivery dates accordingly.

08Acceptance & Sign-off

Deliverables are considered accepted if the client does not raise written objections within the review period stated in the SOW (typically 5–7 business days). Formal sign-off closes the engagement or milestone.

09Termination

Either party may terminate an active engagement with written notice as specified in the individual SOW. Work completed and costs incurred up to the termination date remain payable.
